The approximately 7.5 kilometre long circuit trail follows in the footsteps of the women's race Engadin Skimarathon, the river renaturations around the Inn and Flaz and the Engadin Skimarathon. A route for the head and legs!

The circuit starts right behind the Promulins Arena on the starting route of the women's run Engadin Skimarathon. Instead of going in the direction of Bever, turn right and after the road subway pass the wooden arch bridge over the Inn in the direction of Gravatscha. The Inn and Flaz rivers are crossed here. The Inn was renaturalised at this point during the 2002-2005 flood protection project and the Flaz - which is the second river to be crossed - was relocated to a new riverbed on the Muottas Muragl side. Along the Gravatscha lakes, the cross-country circuit leads on the Engadin Skimarathon trail towards the newly renaturalised Inn floodplains to Bever. After circling Bever (with the option of extending the cross-country circuit to Spinas), the final spurt takes place parallel to the new double-track route of the Rhaetian Railway on the starting route of the Engadin Skimarathon women's race.

Author’s recommendation

If you want to find out more about the river renaturation during your rest after completing your sporting performance, browse the Internet at www.innauen.ch or relax in the Samedan mineral baths - with water from our own mineral spring.
