Medium-difficulty climb to the summit of the 3146 m high Piz Trovat with great distant views

The via ferrata Piz Trovat 1, together with its younger brother, Piz Trovat 2, are two of the most beautiful tests of courage in the Engadine. The via ferrata leads 300 m upwards on 475 steps and 600 m of steel rope. Several steep wall passages have to be climbed and a swaying mountain bridge has to be crossed. At the summit of the 3146 m high Piz Trovat, however, a spectacular view of the Pers Glacier, the highest mountains in the Eastern Alps and the wonderful Bernina Massif awaits the ferratista.
