Passing through Silvaplana, you arrive at the Surlej bridge, where you can observe the play of colours of the kiters. A short stretch along Lake Champfèr before climbing the small Crest'Alta hill. Until 1964 there was a restaurant up here, the walls are still standing and invite you to stop and enjoy the view over the Julierpass road and Silvaplana.
The trail continues to wind its way down the hill and at the junction joins the wide path leading through the forest to Lej Marsch. There the route that began in Silvaplana joins up. The Lej Marsch is a lovely marsh lake with numerous outdoor barbecues around it and also a popular swimming lake.
The route then continues across the lake to the St. Moritz campsite. It passes between the camp and through the clearing. At the crossroads, the St. Moritz route also meets up. After a few minutes you arrive at the Eglise au bois, the French church of St. Moritz. If you are thirsty, this would be an opportunity to go down to the thermal baths and taste the world-famous St. Moritz healing water in the drinks room. Otherwise, the trail continues past the Kinderparadies (children's playground) to the Polowiese with its athletics track, where top athletes from all over the world train at altitude to prepare for competitions. From there it is not far to the finish, just along the lake, leaving the Catholic church on the left, over the bridge and at the end of the skating rink is the end point of this varied hike.
