Experience the Morteratsch glacier forefield in a different way, away from all the hustle and bustle. The snow protection trail starts on the left after the Morteratsch railway crossing and takes you up the valley towards the Bernina massif. Shortly before the glacier tongue you will be rewarded with an impressive view of the Piz Bernina.

The way back follows the same route.
