16 posts inform visitors about the receding glacier and the mystical lifeforms in its wake. Just 50 minutes on foot from the railway station of Morteratsch, one catches sight of the day's objective: the milky glacial lake as well as the glacier's giant ice-tongue.
The LiteraTOUR function provides a literary accompaniment for your hike along the Morteratsch glacier trail. The gripping audio texts you can access them by scanning the QR code at the 16 information points along the glacier trail.
The «Sabi's big dream» children's book takes kids aged between 5 and 12 on a fantastic adventure. The books are designed to immerse children in the fascinating glacier world while they have fun following the story. Children are given a booklet containing a story and a series of puzzles to solve. The puzzles can be solved at various stages along the hiking route leading to the Morteratsch Glacier. There are several information points along the trail where children can collect a series of stamps in their booklets. At the end of the tour, when all of the stamps have been collected, children can take the completed booklet to Pontresina Tourist Information, where they will receive a prize.
