This tour begins at the car park near the church of San Gian. First follow the asphalt road to the Staz railway station before the path leads up into the forest on the right. The trail zigzags up past blueberry bushes towards St. Moritz. Above the St. Moritz shooting range, the trail branches down to the left and then over the vantage point to the lake of Staz. From there, first take the wide path, then the shortcut and follow a section of the Vita Parcours back to Celerina.
