On a winter walk across the frozen Silvaplana Lake, the expanse of the Engadin high valley shows its most impressive side. Especially in the evening light when the sun is low in the sky, the walk across the water becomes an unforgettable experience.

The flat winter hiking trails of the lake plateau from Maloja to Silvaplana are also ideal for families with prams.
